To be with people, yet to be alone.
To really go distance, yet to feel so
close to nature. We take you sailing.

You ask me why we sail? Now, I should tell you something about true freedom, the genuine experience, the primal impulse that awakens when a person finds themselves alone on the open sea. Just the wind, the sound of infinity, some ancient instincts reawakened.
All of that would be words – but they, like photographs, can’t convey so much. Perhaps that’s a good thing.
Must Know Before You Go

The journey starts here.
What’s essential for you to know is that the adventure begins from the Ionian Sea and ends who knows where. Some facts: the boat is 49 feet long and can accommodate 10 people.
Mysterious beaches and Mediterranean sunsets can’t be experienced anywhere else. You sleep on the deck, under the open sky, or down below, in a bed in the cabin. You don’t hear anything you don’t want to hear – all those unnecessary words, shouting, and music from the sunbeds and towels around you when you’re not sailing.
Of course, we can always throw a party – but for a limited number of people. Most often, that’s how it happens – and they’re spontaneous, and those have always been the best.

The right mindset.
Before we set sail on our trip, let’s touch base on land, at least briefly. So later you don cry for me Argentina. Besides the zen moments it can provide, sailing is an adrenaline sport. You’re active, no lounging around all day. (Okay, maybe a bit).
Let’s say it’s like camping on water, and in that sense, the comfort scale might need to be a bit lower – and you’ll enjoy the pace – slower. OK, no more rhyming, that’s so lame, hotel-like.
Speaking of hotels, the boat has everything: a double cabin, living space, a kitchen, and there’s a way to get your privacy if things get a bit tight. It’s okay. Generally, we don’t bring chefs, but that can also be arranged. Some like cooking, some don’t – in practice, arrangements with incredible Greek taverns accessible only to selected few have proven to be maybe the best solution.
If you still have any doubts, and that’s entirely natural, just give us a call. We’re not in the middle of nowhere. Well, we are, but we have a phone.
Chose your way
Two waves.
Plus the adventure.
Perhaps, like many, you’re thinking about sailing but aren’t quite sure if all your friends share the same passion, or if you’ve entirely decided – but you need to find a boat – or you’re determined to take the helm yourself! We get that.
You have us.
It’s possible, of course.
We’ll teach you how – after all, how do you think we became so cool?
Got
questions?
What days and times does charter week start/end?
Our charters usually run from Saturday to Saturday, starting at 17:00 on the first day. However, we offer an early check-in option for an additional fee if you would like to depart at 14:00. The availability of this service depends on various factors, so please let us know if you are interested in this option when booking.
Please note that charters end at 09:00 on the final Saturday, and you must return to the designated base by 18:00 on the preceding Friday.
What is the embarkation port?
Embarkation & Disembarkation port is in Vlicho Bay 310 84, Lefkada.
Is previous experience required to be a crew member?
Absolutely not. You only need to be in a good mood and have the right mindset; our skipper will tell you everything you need to know about sailing.
Is there an age limit?
No, people of all ages are welcome on the board.
Can I bring my children?
Kids are more than welcome on board! Our skippers are parents, too; they’ll show you around and explain the mandatory safety information. However, parents are responsible for their children’s safety during the sailing trip.
If you have a toddler, we highly recommend installing a safety net. Additionally, all children must wear safety vests during the sailing trip.
How Does Meal Planning Work on the Boat?
Before setting sail, an extensive grocery shopping trip is typically done at one of the bigger supermarkets to stock up on enough supplies to feed the crew for the first three days. Later, during the journey, additional provisions (mainly fruit, vegetables, and water) are purchased from smaller shops and markets on the islands and marinas. The shopping list is usually prepared right before the trip, either based on the skipper’s experience and advice or independently by crews with prior sailing experience.
The boat is fully equipped with a kitchen for meal preparation, refrigerators, and food storage spaces. Breakfast and lunch are usually prepared on board during the day, while dinner is optionally enjoyed at one of the local tavernas or also prepared on board.
The cost of food and the responsibility for meal preparation on the boat are shared among the crew. Remember that the crew is obligated to prepare meals for the skipper, and if you decide to dine out at a restaurant, it’s customary to invite the skipper as well—though, of course, they may politely decline. 😊
Should I have travel health insurance?
Travel health insurance is recommended, even if you don’t anticipate needing it. Also, make sure that the coverage includes sports activities.
What and how should I pack?
It’s best to pack everything you think you’ll need and then remove half of it. You’ll wear your swimsuit most of the time, so avoid overpacking. “Less is more” is the key phrase here.
In addition to a summer wardrobe, you’ll need a few extra items, namely a couple of long-sleeved shirts and a few pairs of socks for chilly evenings, a windbreaker jacket, a hat, and sunglasses with UV-protective lenses. Sunscreen is also essential, and we suggest starting with probiotics one week before your trip if you’re travelling to a foreign country.
It’s essential to customize your private pharmacy kit to meet your requirements. Still, we recommend including basic first-aid supplies such as band-aids, antiseptic cream, pain relievers, and any prescription medications you may need. Seasickness medication and other medications needed during the trip should also be packed.
Please avoid packing hard suitcases and high heels as they are not allowed on the boat. Walking barefoot on a wet deck can be dangerous, so bringing sneakers and closed-toe sandals is advisable.
What are check-in & check-out procedures?
During the check-in process, you will meet our team at the base. They will conduct a thorough yacht familiarisation briefing and inspect the yacht with you to ensure you have a complete understanding of all the yacht’s systems and safety equipment on board.
Similarly, during check-out, our base staff will inspect the yacht with you, and you will sign the handover papers. This is also an excellent opportunity for you to share any feedback or comments regarding your sailing experience and the yacht.
What is the security deposit for?
When renting a yacht, you must pay a refundable security deposit before setting sail. The deposit typically ranges from 1500€ to 2500€ depending on the chosen package. This deposit is intended to cover the yacht’s excess insurance. You can pay the security deposit in cash or using a credit/debit card when you pick up the yacht. You cannot leave the port until the deposit has been paid in full.
Assuming you return the yacht in the same condition as you found it, with no loss or damage, you will receive a full refund of the security deposit. However, if you lose or damage anything on the yacht, the company will deduct the cost of repair or replacement from the security deposit before returning the remainder to you. In some cases, the company may also charge you for labour costs associated with the repair or replacement. If you lose something, it may be more cost-effective to replace it yourself before returning the yacht. Suppose the damage to the yacht exceeds the amount of the security deposit. In that case, the company will claim the yacht’s insurance policy, and you will not be held financially responsible for any additional costs.
It’s important to note that if the yacht is damaged due to the fault of another boat, you will still be held responsible for any damage until the other boat’s owner compensates the yacht owner for the damages.
