Discovering Paradise: Ionian’s Hidden Gems

The beaches, or in translation - "how to become the Zeus of social media," or "where few boats have ever docked."

The title is long because in this text wil shall not waste too many words – still, some things must be known. The Ionian Sea is crystal clear, full of incredible shades of blue – some would say like a postcard (an Insta filter), but that someone hasn’t sailed for sure. Corfu, Paxos, Antipaxos, Zakynthos, Kefalonia, Ithaca – and on them, hidden beaches, gems of untouched Mediterranean Sea shores – just type: Voutoumi, Mesovrika, Rodovani, Myrtos, Canal d’Amour, Issos, Paleokastritsa, Erimitis – but that might give you an impression that’s miles away from reality: literally.

Besides those „popular“ beaches, perhaps some unnamed little one, which only you, your team, or your skipper find beautiful can become your private memory – because of the momentum, of the Moon or Sun – and that’s a matter of choice and of power of nature, just like the tide.

The truth is that the title is partly a lie. Once one experiences vacation in this way, something perhaps selfish awakens within a person – a desire to hide them from others’ views. So, forget about the social media part. Forget the phone. There’ll be a plenty of things to remember.
